About me
My name is André Guilherme Daubermann and I am a PhD student at the Protein Biochemistry Laboratory of the “Luiz de Queiroz” College of Agriculture, Brazil. My PhD project focuses on the functions of the peptide hormone rapid alkalinization factor (RALF) on plant responses to drought stress. Despite working with plant physiology and biochemistry, not always have I been worked with it. While in the college my first experience with research was in the field of soil physics. I always found that the soil dynamics were fantastic, but what I found most intriguingly at that time was the possibility to be in a scientific atmosphere. Since then I have been dedicating most of my time to learn and to investigate things.
